I noticed my friend was playing FW via Steam and told him about the server I was on. Apparently he had been playing for a while and has a 22 Bard on Storm. So I told him about the AFK exp and logged on to show him. After spending 15 minutes trying to get a friend request through I noticed I had a 229k latency. This was after I had closed and restarted FW a few times.
This Friday I'll try to pick up one of the no contract Mimo's for my net and see if it's works better. I'll also continue to hope I can play FW while at work.
